Unfortunately, my attempt to review and help pulling #2579 (that would make it much easier to do gitian checks) over the finish line, is not ready because the gitian-builder software that we need for this has a bug. All it needs is a final acknowledgement of the latest changes and we’re good to go on this.Ī number of pull requests are still awaiting gitian checks.

I would recommend other developers that receive tips for work that isn't always entirely theirs, to do something similar. If this is not the case then I will propose to all contributors (using github) to lock all funds held in this address until January 1st (which, if a majority agrees upon, will result in another address I will inform everyone of and provide locking proof for.) If this is the case then I will empty this address into that tipjar. I hope that by then, there is a new tipjar where all former tips, that have been held hostage since a couple of months, are restored. I think it is important that tips are shared between those that did the work, and not so much those that are always yapping, and therefore have temporarily created a "vault" address that is locked until block 4290000, which should be mined approximately at July 2nd, 2022.
